Analysis of the company productive system and introduction to ZCT
The production plan of a winery is structured in 3 phases: cultivation, vinification and transport to the warehouse. Each of them requires a certain number of inputs (e.g. grapes, glass bottle, water, diesel oil, etc.) that in turn require a certain amount of energy resources.

The challenge
Solution
With its intervention, Alens has seggested:
- Change of nitrogenous compounds (long release)
- Use of a lighter bottle
- Change of refrigeration equipment
- Installation of a photovoltaic plant
introducing the company to the ZeroCarbonTarget path.
Result
Within the ZCT path the customer has already carried out interventions 1 and 2, achieving a reduction of 7.6%. With the purchase of electricity with GO he has also added an additional 14.5% offset, achieving the T1 and the first leaf label.
Interventions 3 and 4 are planned over the next six years, which would gradually lead to T2 and Carbon Neutrality.
