The production plan of a company operating in the field of cold cuts is implemented in the following stages: arrival at the factory, preliminary processing, seasoning, packaging and shipping. Each of them requires a certain number of raw materials considered as inputs (e.g. primary ingredients, salt, packaging material, methane, water, etc.) and a large expenditure of energy resources.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE ELEMENTS INVOLVED AND INSTALLATION OF AD HOC PLANTS

With its intervention, Alens has suggested:

Autoproduction of energy (photovoltaic and cogeneration)
Fleet overhaul of transport vehicles (electric short-haul vehicles and long-haul vehicles LNG and hydrogen)
Reuse of food waste

introducing the company to Zero Carbon Target path.

Result

WARRANTY OF RESULT AND EFFECTIVE SAVING

The Customer has just undertaken ZCT path, we have identified the possible interventions and we have drawn up the following action plan:

Installation of self-production plant within the next 2 years, with purchases of EE with GO to reach T1 (RED>7% and OFF>15%)
Progressive change of means of transport with electric or hybrid and various Carbon Offsets projects (reaching T2 within the next 6-7 years)
Construction of circular economy system for the recovery and reuse of food waste, maintenance of Carbon Offset projects (achievement of Carbon Neutrality within the next 9-12 years).
