Optimization and certification for Turbogas plant of Lesaffre

The core business is the production and marketing of fresh yeast, sourdough and ingredients for homemade, industrial and domestic bakery. Its products are present in all market segments and throughout the national territory.

Attentive to the environment in all its aspects, the goal with Lesaffre was to improve energy efficiency, optimizing systems and obtaining white certificates (EET) to have a better yield, even on the market.
Alens has supported the customer in every step, offering advice for each of the 3 stages of the process: in the first phase of optimization the transfer into the network and the load cogenerator were perfected; later, the HEC qualifications and the White Certificates have been obtained; finally, in the last phase the sale of the WC to market and the management of the EET portfolio has been realized.
In 2015, Alens made an initial HEC/WC request for 2014 final data for Lesaffre and obtained it. The sale of White Certificates on the market,allows a yield of 270% compared to withdrawal by the Energy Services Supervisor.
With about 5,500 hours/year of operation, the plant has generated so far a total of 10.500 White Certificates for a value of 2.360.000 € for the first 5 years.
